Projector Light upgrades have become an active trend nowadays. Most cars in today’s market come with ‘Buzzword’ technologies, like LED, projector lights etc, but due to the low cost of investment in build of materials, the car manufacturers are unable to deliver adequate road safety suitable for our road conditions. Hence a lot of end users find the light output inadequate, and come to us looking for solutions based on their personal use case and driving style. We install premium lighting solutions for 3 to 4 cars every day from our Bangalore workshop now. LED Array or Projector lamps used to mainly come factory installed in premium cars. However, today these features have trickled down to entry and mid segment cars.

Projector lighting solutions are legal in all countries due to the technology enhances focussed light on the road, where it is needed, instead of glaring light in the face of oncoming traffic.
Projector lamps mainly come with LED chipsets, which consume less power and produce 3 to 6 times more light than original car lighting setup, without creating disturbance for others on the road.

These headlamp upgrade kits comprise of a projector lens housing with plug and play harness / wiring kit to integrate them into almost any car without cutting any original wiring harness. Hence, not losing wiring warranty on car. The only permanent modification is the original headlamp housing which has to be opened up, and retrofit installation has to be done for the new projectors, along with proper alignment.

In some cases, we blacken the inside chrome bezels with a custom Daytime Running Light (DRL) to give the car a sporty look. People can choose between an OEM type simple look, or a custom painted sporty look.

One important thing to note is that most dealers installing projectors in India are selling cheap Chinese options which only look good, but don’t add any value to visibility or safety. Expert Tip:

The key to having super visibility on the high beam on any projector light on the highway is to lower the light using the headlamp leveller in the car. This places the high beam hot spot of light on the road, enhancing visibility. If the light is focused higher than needed, it scatters that reduces visibility. Every car light beam has a hot spot and that has to hit the road for high beam visibility. We train users how to use the lights effectively after install at our workshop.
